What does it mean if people cover the processing fees?

If donors elect to cover the processing fees for their donation, they would be giving 100% of the intended donation to your organization. This election satisfies both the processing fees from Stripe and Donately. 

If the donors do not elect to cover the fees (though, our data shows that a majority of donors do cover the fees!), your charity will receive the net proceeds from each donation, less all fees. Note, you will not be required to pay any costs out-of-pocket!
