Sync your Donately and HubSpot accounts with just a few clicks.
One great feature that Donately customers can take advantage of to support their fundraising efforts are Native Integrations.
Donately integrates with HubSpot quickly and easily to better track and communicate with your donors. This integration is simple to hook up, easy to use, and acts as a full-service CRM to better understand and connect with your donors.
Follow these steps to successfully integrate Donately with HubSpot.
- Once you’re logged into your Donately Dashboard, you will click on ‘Integrations’
- Next, Find the HubSpot integration and click the ‘Add’ button
- By clicking the ‘Configure’ button next, you’ll begin the quick and easy set up process which will start with you signing up for or signing into HubSpot, if you haven’t already done so
- The next step after you’ve signed into HubSpot will be selecting your ‘Authentication Name’ - this is the connection name that you’ll associate with the Integration. You will be able to modify the Authentication Name if you wish, once complete click on ‘Next’
- **Note: you will NOT need to select a ‘Property’
- A screen will appear confirming that you want to connect Donately and HubSpot and if you have more than one HubSpot accounts you will select the HubSpot account to integrate with
- The next screen will ask if you’re sure you want to give access for your Donately and HubSpot accounts to speak to each other. You will want to click on the orange ‘Connect App’ button to confirm
- This following screen will notify you that the Integration was successfully set up and you can click on the ‘Finish’ button.
- You’ll be taken back to your main Integrations page where you will now see that your HubSpot integration has been set to ‘Active’
10. Edit your HubSpot DEAL properties to properly reflect Donately donation properties. Each donation from Donately will create a corresponding Deal Record in HubSpot. Head to your "Deal Property" settings either from a Deal, or directly in your account settings. Find the "Donately Properties" section. Now, select which properties you'd like to see in your deal(Donation) records
You are now connected to HubSpot through Donately. This means that any supporters who make donations to your cause will entered into your HubSpot account directly from Donately and you’ll be able to track their giving, view their contact details and send them emails directly from HubSpot.
