First Needed to Get Started:
- Administrative access to your Webflow account
- A Webflow Ecommerce plan
- Access to your organization’s Stripe account (Administrator/Developer role)
Steps to Enable Apple Pay:

Log in to Webflow
- Access your Webflow dashboard and click on the gear icon to enter the settings.
- Navigate to the Ecommerce section from the sidebar.

Enable Checkout
- In the Checkout tab, toggle on the option to Enable Checkout.

Connect Stripe
- Select Stripe as the payment provider.
- Follow the prompts to authenticate the connection between Webflow and Stripe. This ensures that payments processed through your website are handled by Stripe’s secure platform.

Enable Web Payments
- After the Stripe connection is authenticated, toggle on the Enable Web Payments option. This activates support for Apple Pay and other digital wallet options (such as Google Pay) for your Webflow store.

Publish Your Changes
- Once the payment provider settings are in place, publish the updates to your Webflow site to make the changes live.

Verify Your Domain in Stripe
- Log in to your Stripe Dashboard and navigate to the Apple Pay settings under Payments.
- Select the option to Verify website ownership. This is required to enable Apple Pay on your website.
- Add the domain where you will be using Apple Pay. Only include the base domain (e.g.,
mycharity.org
rather thanhttps://mycharity.org
). - Since you’re using Webflow, you can skip downloading the verification file. Webflow automatically handles domain verification in the background.
- Confirm the domain verification in the Stripe dashboard by clicking the provided verification URL. This step confirms that Apple Pay is now ready to use on your site.

Complete Domain Verification
- Once the domain verification process is completed in Stripe, your Apple Pay settings will update to reflect the verified domain.
- You can now accept Apple Pay payments on your Webflow site using Donately and Stripe.
