Set up your donor dashboard
Activate your account at my.donately.com to see your giving history, manage recurring donations, edit a fundraiser you are running, and get your tax summary.
If you have donated to an organization that uses Donately, or you are fundraising on their behalf, you can manage all of it at my.donately.com.
You do not get an account automatically when you donate. You activate one, once, using the email address you gave.
Activate your dashboard
- Go to my.donately.com/activate.
- Enter the email address you used when you donated or set up your fundraiser, and click Send me a code.
- Check your email for the code, enter it, and choose a password of at least 8 characters.
That's it. From then on, sign in at my.donately.com with that email and password.
If you have activated before, use Sign in instead of activating again.
If the code doesn't arrive
- Check your spam folder.
- Make sure you used the same address the organization has for you. If you donated with a different email, activate with that one.
- Still nothing? Email support@donately.com and we can check which address is on file.
This is separate from a Donately account for organizations. If you are asked to connect to Stripe, you are in the wrong place: that is the sign-up for charities collecting donations, not for donors.
What you can do once you are in
The sidebar has:
- Donations: every gift you have made, with receipts.
- Recurring Plans: change the amount, frequency or card on a regular gift, or cancel it. See Change or cancel your recurring donation.
- Fundraisers: the fundraising pages you are running, if any.
- Tax reporting: your giving summary.
Your dashboard spans every organization you support through Donately, so one login covers them all.
Edit your fundraiser
If you are raising money on an organization's behalf, open Fundraisers and choose yours.
Click Edit to update the title, description and photo, and set your Goal Amount. Save, and your public page updates.
View Fundraiser Page opens the page donors see, which is the link to share.
The same screen shows what you have raised, your progress towards the goal, how many donors you have, and the donations themselves.
What you cannot change yourself
The organization owns the campaign your fundraiser belongs to, so the campaign's own wording and images are theirs to edit. If your fundraiser is attached to the wrong campaign, or you want it removed, ask the organization directly: they can do both, and we cannot do it on their behalf.
