Put your donation form on your website

Share the hosted link, paste an embed snippet, or print a QR code. Which embed option to use, and what to do when you change the form afterwards.

Donation forms2026 dashboard

Every form can be shared as a link, embedded on your website, or printed as a QR code.

The video above is the one-minute version: find Forms, create or open a form, edit it, then Share. The rest of this page is the detail behind each of those steps.

Publish the form first. The Share button stays disabled until you do, because there is nothing to link to yet.

Open the form and click Share to reach Share & Embed.

Hosted Form Link is a complete donation page hosted by us. Copy Link puts it on your clipboard and View Form opens it.

This is the fastest option, and often the best one: it needs no website changes, works in an email or a social post, and always shows the current version of the form.

Put it on your own site

Under Embed on Your Website you get three options. Pick one, then Copy Embed Code and paste it into your page where the form should appear.

Simple script suits almost everyone. One line of script, no container needed, and it works on most website builders that allow script embeds.

Iframe is for builders that block custom JavaScript. It works anywhere, at the cost of a fixed height.

Advanced script is for developers who want to control the form from the page, such as running something of their own when a donation succeeds.

If you use Advanced script, copy it again after you publish changes. That snippet has the form's settings written into it, so unlike the other two it does not pick up edits on its own. The others update within a minute or two.

Which to choose on a website builder

WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and plain HTML all take the Simple script if the page allows scripts. If your builder strips scripts out, or your plan doesn't allow them, use the Iframe.

A button that opens the form in a popup

The form's Share page does not offer a popup snippet. Popups are on the campaign side: open the campaign, choose Share, and use the Donate Button block, which gives you a button that opens your campaign details beside the real donation form.

QR codes and printed signs

QR Code & Printable Signage gives you the live QR code as PNG or SVG, plus ready-made print layouts: a window sticker and a poster. Click a sign to open and print it. The QR points at your hosted form link, so it keeps working when the form changes.

Prefilling the form

You can fill in a donor's name, email or address ahead of time by adding parameters to the form's URL, which is what makes a renewal or appeal link feel personal. See prefill a donation form with a donor's details for the full list and the cases it does not cover.

Prefilling does not lock a value: the donor can still edit it. For an amount the donor cannot change, set it in the form builder and lock it instead.

After you change a form

Publish, and embeds pick up the change within a minute or two. If it still looks old, your browser is showing a cached copy, so hard-refresh before assuming something is wrong.

The exception is the Advanced script embed, which needs re-copying.

There is no need to re-embed a form after ordinary edits: the snippet points at the form rather than containing it, except in the advanced case above.
