Customise your campaign page

Set the story, cover image, goal and URL for a hosted campaign page, and understand which parts come from your account branding rather than the campaign.

Campaigns & fundraising2026 dashboard

A campaign page is a hosted page we run for you, with your story, a progress bar and a donation form. You edit it in the campaign builder.

Open Campaigns, choose the campaign, and click Edit.

Content

Content holds everything specific to this campaign:

  • Short Description, the one-liner under the title.
  • Goal Amount, which drives the progress bar.
  • Campaign Story, the main body: why the campaign exists and who it helps. Generate with AI will draft one if you would rather edit than start from nothing.

Images

Two images, both of which you can upload or paste a URL into:

  • Cover Image, the wide banner across the top. Aim for 1600 × 600px, JPG or PNG.
  • Thumbnail Image, used on campaign cards and when the page is shared on social media. Aim for 1200 × 630px.

The thumbnail is your social image. It's what appears when someone posts the link, so pick something that reads at small sizes.

If you set no cover image the banner is a plain grey block rather than broken, but the page looks unfinished. Set one.

Design

Design points at your account's branding rather than holding its own controls, because colours and fonts are shared across all your pages. Edit Account Styles takes you to Settings → General, where changing them affects every campaign.

Progress bar colours are not adjustable. The old dashboard offered those controls; the hosted page never used them.

Settings

  • Status: Draft, Published or Archived.
  • Campaign URL: the slug at the end of the address. Changing it breaks any link already shared, so change it before you promote the campaign, not after.
  • Campaign Type is fixed when you create the campaign, decided by the template you pick. It cannot be changed later, so if you need peer-to-peer fundraising, choose that template at the start.

Where the page lives

Your campaign page is at:

pages.donately.com/your-subdomain/campaign/your-campaign-url

Your subdomain is under Settings → General.

Publish

Like forms, the live page only changes when you click Publish. Edits save to a draft as you work, Save keeps a named version you can return to, and the version drawer lets you preview or restore one.

Note that version history covers work done in this builder. Edits made in the older dashboard are not versioned.

What you cannot set per campaign

  • Custom domains. Campaign pages are served from pages.donately.com.
  • Per-campaign SEO fields. The page's title and description come from the campaign's own title and description, and the social image from the thumbnail.
  • Which stats appear. The progress bar, goal, supporter count and donor comments come from the page template you chose.

We use cookies to understand how the help centre is used, and to see which articles lead people to Donately. Nothing is set unless you agree.
